New Year's Day 2012

Hello, my name is Julie and I am a Quilter!

I am beginning this blog as a "New Year's resolution"  It's all about the sharing.....my projects & thoughts about my quilting adventure, my friends awesome projects & some of the fantastic quilting finds on the internet!  I have found quilters to be a very sharing group and hope this will become one way for me to share also. 

The blog name is actually the name my friend Lana & I have choosen to use as we market our quilting patterns.  Actually we are "marketing" to a very small audience but we are having a great time doing it!  Our aspirations are not so lofty - have fun designing quilts & sharing them with other quilters!   Marketing them "validates" our time spent designing.  We are "grandmothers"(  that makes us sound old, no way!)  have grandchildren which are our priorty at this stage of our lives so getting rich and going on speaking/teaching trips is not part of the plan for now.

I hope these blog postings will provide an inspiration, a laugh or an "I thought I was the only one who made that silly mistake" moment.
